The holiday season is often a time to spread goodwill and cheer, and that is exactly what some of our ADI branches have been doing over the past couple weeks.

ADI branches in North America have been taking part in charitable events and toy drives to support their local communities. The ADI teams have partnered with customers and suppliers to collect toys and donations that will be distributed to those in need. By teaming up with local non-profit organizations like Toys for Tots, these branches are helping to bring the joy of the holidays to numerous children and families.

“The Plainview branch participated in three local toy drives for Toys for Tots. The response from our team members and customers was overwhelming, and we were able to fill up more than three boxes of toys in just two weeks,” said Juliet Garcia, ADI Plainview Branch Manager. “Some of us even participated in Toys for Tots collection events that took place over the weekend, where a convoy of donators was escorted on a drive across Long Island to meet the Marines and local police departments to drop off the collected toys. Our team is already making plans for next year’s drive!”

The holiday season is not the only time the ADI team gives back to its communities. Branches host events throughout the year like school supply drives, coat drives and more. Earlier this year, ADI hosted a charity event with Mission 500 to raise money to provide school supplies and other essential items to children in need. In addition, each year ADI awards one of its team members with the ADI Community Impact Award to honor and award the actions in giving back to communities.

“ADI has roots in many cities across North America, and giving back to the communities we are in has always been important to us,” said Bob Appleby, Vice President and General Manager of ADI North America. “This has been a tough year, and even tougher for many of the families in our communities. I’m extremely proud and humbled by the efforts of our teams, customers and supplier partners to help those in need.”
